Kawasaki ZX-RR MotoGP Bike

The new Ninja ZX-RR test machine's first race appearance in the prototype class of the All-Japan Superbike race at CP Mine Circuit, Yamaguchi Prefecture was marked by its singular lime green colour. The fuel tank's compact, angular shape allows the rider greater freedom of movement. With the seat cowl also chiselled down to its new thin, short shape, the bike is one step closer to the sharp form depicted in the image sketch released earlier.

The first racing appearance in the prototype class attracted a large number of spectators eager to see the racing debut of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR. Although Kawasaki was one of the last manufacturers to begin developing a MotoGP machine, rider Akira Yanagawa managed to set the fastest lap time (1'24.824).

- the development is moving in the right direction....Ohhh Yeah.....

KAWASAKI has recently released this picture of their MotoGP Project.

KAWASAKI has released information about the new project, in which the new model, so far, will be named "ZX-RR Ninja", and is a brand new liquid-cooled, DOHC In-Line Four. Using a Ram Air System developed through racing feedback from the ZXR-7 and the ZX-7RR, they have been able to achieve a remarkable level of power. The engine displacement is less than 990 cm3, per the new FIM regulations.

Compared to the streamlined shape of their current Superbike, the new machine's angular lines were developed using an aerodynamic approach that aims to eliminate turbulent airflow through the use of its strategically located edges.

Later this year it will attend some parts of the All-Japan Superbike's series. This is the department for Prototype Bikes. This should end up with the possibility that KAWASAKI ZX-RR Ninja would be able to attend some of the last departments of the MOTO GP Runs.

A quick look at the above photo, let's no one with any doubt that KAWASAKI yet again is renewing and setting the standard in designing top of the line sportbikes. With this bike i'm pretty sure KAWASAKI has begun the development of future KAWASAKI Ninja models.
